Who we are
GK Vip Transfer is a family-run private transfer service on Kos island, Greece, operated by Georgia Kommata. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at gkommata [at] gmail [dot] com or on WhatsApp at +30 697 296 1560.
What data we collect
This website has no user accounts and no server-side database. The booking form only collects your trip details: pickup and drop-off location, date, time, number of passengers, and vehicle choice. When you submit the form, those details are placed into a WhatsApp message that you send to us from your own WhatsApp account. At that point we also receive your WhatsApp profile name and phone number, exactly as with any WhatsApp conversation.
We use this information solely to arrange and provide your transfer. We do not use it for marketing lists and we never sell it.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Analytics cookies are set only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics run at all. We use no advertising or marketing cookies.
Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
Legal bases
- Booking and providing your transfer: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Analytics cookies: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else processes your data
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) delivers your booking messages, under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
- Google processes analytics data if you consent, as described above.
- Our hosting and network providers (Netlify, Cloudflare) may process IP addresses in standard server logs for security and delivery of the site.
How long we keep your data
Booking conversations on WhatsApp are kept only as long as needed to provide the transfer and handle any follow-up, after which they can be deleted on request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a portable copy. Email gkommata [at] gmail [dot] com and we will respond as soon as possible. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
